Practice G7, F, C, and C7

  • Review each chord.
  • Go around the circle and ask each child to say their age and then have everyone strum that many times for each chord.
  • Try to include Down Down Up  Up Down Up in the strumming after the students are warmed up.

Pop Goes the Weasel

  • Practice Pop Goes the Weasel slowly with your students.
  • Choose three of the best players to play the ukulele while the other students hide in the classroom.  Everyone will sing as the players play.
  • Each time they play Pop goes the weasel, the students who are hiding will pop up.
